Missing Graves

Breaking waves
Just like in games
Like Pool and Cards and Glory Days
Muscles twisting up like tangled blades

Salty swimmers
Catching dinner
Quick before their mom gets thinner
Organs swiftly winding to a stop

Best friend punching
Hands still touching
Body bag, cocoon-like clutching
Locker room locked in without a lead

Canker-sores and evened scores
You're sprawled across the kitchen floor
Draped in years of burning porn
Neck muscle torn
Scorned
Early four-in-the-morning movie feat Rip-Torn
Dreaming by my bed side
For a lock on my door
Hoping someday I won't live at home anymore
Erasing relatives, well, relatively
Trying not to mourn
Taking notes on Relativity
But I can't relate
Because I am not relate-able
Homeschooling...Therapy...
At least I'm relocatable

Popping pills
Missing Fire Drills
Prescriptions placed me treatable
Readable
Future Fucked Rotatable

Tangled blades; Muscles twisting
Glory days, card games and Frisbee
Breaking waves
And
Missing Graves.
