Deathbed; lying in wake...

I had awoke at 3:05 The night was old And the dawn was nigh It was a shame I had told a lie It had all come rushing back The knife, and the towels The Black Bowler Hat It was a shame; it was worse than that The thought had come as quick as it left I had to leave town and I couldn't turn back And that was when I saw his hat He picked it from the ground and said as the shadows enveloped his face and his head "its a shame things had to end like this..." "though your wife is mostly the one thing you'll miss..." Then he smirked, then he laughed ...took his hat off his head and the knife came down and I went back to bed... I had died at 3:05 The night was old And the dawn was nigh I was a shame I had told that lie.

The Road

Red Hazy Road where no-one set foot the road long forgotten the road he had shook It blazed forever a path long since tread and whoever had walked it was already dead The secrets it held tremendous in size were far too great to see with naked-eye Unless you walked it, from beginning to end only then, would you see the rules it could bend Red Hazy Road where no-one set foot the road long forgotten the road he had shook
