Atlantis Falls Under

the stained glass cracks
as shadows waltz across the hall
the muddy, bloody, murky hall
reminded of what drowned it all

The carpet frayed
and thick wet fog had seeped into
EVERYTHING
no one was spared a life
the water ran so thick, so rife

Those Fools
They Knew
to yell and to boast of it all
The new and clean Utopia
The fog gave hyperopia

and now it seems
that the land up there, forgotten
It was able to save us all
When shadows waltzed across the hall
